Position: Desktop Support Technician
Location: Ada, MI 49355
Duration: Long term (Potential for full time opportunity)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with hardware upgrades, system imaging, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform RAM upgrades to improve system performance
Use SCCM and PXE boot to deploy and manage system images
Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory
Maintain accurate records of hardware/software assets
Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking and change management
Set up user accounts on newly imaged devices
Provide follow-up support to ensure proper functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware/software issues
Install and configure Office 365 applications Qualifications:
Proven experience in desktop support and system administration
Proficiency with SCCM, PXE boot, and imaging tools
Strong knowledge of Active Directory
Experience with asset management
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
