Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking an experienced Applications Architect to work on SRNL Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.

The Applications Architect shall be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of various application Oracle Fusion support projects in support of SNRL. The selected candidate in this role will be considered a subject matter expert (SME) and will be providing creative solutions to often non-routine and unstructured assignments.

Duties include technical project milestone reviews, developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer. Adept at alternating between coding, debugging, and design. Proactively engage and work with IT, Operations, and the Business, effectively collaborate to overcome challenges and ensure fit for purpose solutions and business change. Possess a specialized depth and or breadth of expertise in applications development and support.

Responsibilities

Must be able to design and develop customizations using Visual Builder and Process Builder in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

Strong experience designing and developing integrations/API calls using OIC, including developing REST and SOAP calls and performing FBDI file uploads is necessary.

Designing and developing integrations in OIC to perform data extracts using BI Publisher reports and OTBI reports is highly desirable.

Be able to collaborate and work in a team and be part of the technical team to design, build, test and deploy OIC integrations on various projects.

Have strong experience documenting and managing technical specifications.

Sound technical knowledge base of standard concepts, principles, and techniques with the ability to apply formal training.

Solid problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills (written and oral) to foster collaborative and productive relationships within a team of engineers.

Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Easily communicate with stakeholders, work with clients and business colleagues to understand their detailed requirements.

Create and own deliverables that fit with the wider strategic focus.

Proactively identify, access, and prioritize threats to project delivery (risks) or events that are actively impacting project delivery (issues).

Network and communicate effectively with senior internal and external colleagues.

Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services though applicable technology.

Knowledge and experience in some of the following:

ITIL

Leading software development teams

Coordinate activities though the project life cycle.

Define criteria for success and key performance indicators (KPIs) that will measure business objectives.

Full-stack developmentSoftware development lifecycle

Application architecture

Web application technologies

Application Programming Interface (API) development

Data analysis

C #, Python, SharePoint/Power Platforms, PowerBI, SQL Developer, Agile or Scrum framework, version control. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline plus 10+ years of relevant experience or a combination of education, professional certifications, and direct experience may be used to meet educational requirement.

3 to 5 years of experience with Oracle Fusion with strong hands-on experience with OIC integrations

Be able to work in a hybrid model, partly onsite and partly remote.

For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is Legally Required Preferred Qualifications:

Experience creating Oracle OTBI reports in Fusion.

Knowledge of Oracle OAC/FAW Knowledge of Oracle ODI Experience working with any Oracle Workflows (GL, AR, AP, Procurement, etc.)

Preferred candidates should have diverse and in-depth skills and experience in keeping assigned applications operational by testing product upgrades, providing customer support, and problem-solving customer issues.

Preferred candidates should proactively engage and maintain links with stakeholders to communicate clearly, listen to and explore requirements and present advice in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
