Position Details:

Title: Quality Inventory Technician (Medical Device)

Position Type: 8 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need (possible consideration for direct hire after the contract)

Job Location: Columbus, OH - 100% onsite

Shift: 1st

Compensation: $18-$20/HR

Position Summary :

Responsible for inspection of diagnostic films and packaging & preparation of materials for shipment for medical devices.

Job Responsibilities :

Receives safety training as well as inspection and packaging training.

Perform visual inspection of film.

Document film quality from inspections.

Prepare film for shipment.

Performs additional work as required by Material Coordinator - Diagnostic Films.

Follow safety and environmental rules and regulations. Education Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalent and looking for a career in the chemical industry. Qualifications :

Ability to receive safety and process training.

Ability to read, understand and execute procedures and process instructions.

Ability to follow all environmental, health, safety and security requirements.

Ability to work M-F 8 hours per day with occasional OT.

Must be authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Skill Set :

Team Player interfacing with every department on site.

Awareness of FDA cGMP.

Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP system.

Accountable for giving every effort in training period to ensure he/she will have the essential understanding of the plant policies, procedures, and safety practices.

Physical / Mental Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Able to properly wear required PPE which may include hard hat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, or other equipment.

Capable of evacuating facility in a timely manner should an emergency arise.

EHS&S Requirements

Initial, refresher and ongoing training as required to meet all applicable requirements.

Responsibility for following all RCRA requirements.
