Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior LabVIEW Test Automation Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining test engineering application software for complex hardware/software systems. This role requires expertise in NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, Python, C#, and Matlab Simulink along with exposure to avionics or aerospace testing standards such as DO-160. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated test equipment development and be proficient in integrating various communication protocols and measurement systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test systems using NI LabVIEW and TestStand.
Interface with various instruments using communication protocols such as RS232/RS422, ARINC, AFDX, TCP/IP, UDP, and Ethernet.
utomate and streamline test procedures using Python, C#, Matlab, and Robot Framework.
Integrate hardware and software to build scalable and reusable test solutions.
Support test campaigns for aerospace and avionics programs adhering to DO-160 standards.
Utilize NI hardware to develop test applications aligned with project requirements.
Maintain and manage software code repositories with CI/CD best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage, accuracy, and reliability.
Provide technical documentation and support for system validation and verification. Required Qualifications:
7+ years of proven experience in NI LabVIEW-based test automation.
Proficient with NI TestStand, Matlab Simulink, Python, C#, Perl, and NI Hardware.
Experience in test development for avionics, aerospace, or high-reliability systems.
Strong knowledge of instrument communication and automation using industry tools.
Familiarity with measurement equipment across electrical, electronic, thermal, and dimensional domains.
Strong understanding of hardware/software integration in automated systems.
Hands-on experience with software version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DO-160 compliance testing.
Familiarity with ARINC, AFDX, RS232/RS422, and network protocol standards.
Experience with developing scalable test frameworks using modern scripting tools.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies in test engineering environments.
