Who We Are

We are a leading Columbus-based contract security company specializing in large office & industrial facilities. We service multiple sites in the central Ohio area and maintain "around the clock" coverage to fulfill our Client's needs. The Security Area Supervisor duties include, but are not limited to filling in for absenteeism, directing the hourly employees, scheduling, inspecting, and training. The candidate must be willing to work on the evening & midnight shifts, have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience (security experience a plus). Security Area Manager Requirements

A neat and well groomed, professional appearance.

Excellent customer service skills (e.g. courtesy, patience, understanding, etc.).

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point.

Supervisory skills.

Report writing skills (to include daily/monthly/yearly activities in spreadsheet format).

The ability to multi-task.

The ability to comply with all client safety guidelines, to include (but not limited to) wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as, hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, reflective garments, fire resistant garments and safety boots.

Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the proper use of grammar, punctuation and spelling of the English language.

The ability to comply with all client policies and procedures governing the security contract.

A valid driver license.

A High School Diploma or GED (work experience my be substituted).

The ability to work overtime when asked or directed. Security Area Manager Qualifications

Experience in Supervision/Management.

Experience in logistics.

Experience in loss prevention.

Experience in investigations.

Experience in law enforcement or the military.

Experience in payroll.

Experience in client relations.

Experience in contract security .

Experience in scheduling.

Experience in interviewing.

Experience in employee on boarding.

Applicants must have clean police record, be 21 years or older, and have a valid driver's license

Pay is dependent on the experience of the applicant.
