Java Developer

Primary Skills: Java (Expert), Rest APIs (Expert), AWS (Advanced), System Design (Advanced), Data Structure & Algorithms (Expert) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 9+ Months with Possible Extension Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite) Pay Range: $60.00 - $64.00 Per Hour Job Summary: This high-risk assignment involves first-level support and development for production software application issues within our merchandising applications, directly impacting customers.

The candidate will develop monitoring solutions, troubleshoot/debug, implement fixes for internally developed code, and work alongside development on Corporate and Divisional Software projects.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a high-profile team.

Key Responsibilities: Develop monitoring solutions for production support.

Troubleshoot/debug and implement fixes for JAVA-based applications.

Perform SQL queries to analyze and solve database-related issues.

Update, enhance, and automate support processes for efficiency.

Document systems and provide technical support across projects.

Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in JAVA and understanding of Java Server Pages (JSP). Strong AWS competence with an ability to leverage cloud services effectively.

Proficiency in Data Structure & System Design Solid SQL skills for complex data analysis and problem-solving.

Industry Experience: A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.

2-5 years of relevant Software Development Engineer experience.
