About Us:

OhioMHAS Information Services is the technology arm of the third largest cabinet level agency in the state of Ohio. We develop and support technology for several critical business solutions used by the agency as well as by county and local behavioral health care providers across the state.

What you'll do at OhioMHAS:

The Epic Analyst - Healthy Planet Population Health plays a vital role in supporting the implementation, optimization and ongoing maintenance of the Epic Healthy Planet module, which is designed to enhance population health management. This role works closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to ensure data-driven, value-based care strategies are supported effectively through Epic. The analyst will help bridge gaps between data insights, care coordination, and clinical workflows, enabling improved health outcomes across patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, build, and maintain the Epic Health Planet module to support population health initiatives.

Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to design workflows that support care management, preventive care, and chronic disease monitoring.

Analyze population health data and metrics to support the design and implementation of targeted care strategies.

Develop dashboards and reports to support performance improvement and monitor key quality indicators.

Assist in upgrades, testing, and management for Health Plant and related modules.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epic upgrades, functionality, and best practices in population health. This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 33 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule . Normal working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. This position is located within our Office of Information Services, headquartered at the James Rhodes State Office Tower, 30 East Broad Street, 33rd floor, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Alternative 1:

Completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems And

12 combined work experience in multiple areas of assigned responsibility (e.g., infrastructure, database administration, software development, business process analysis) as specified by the agency position description & job posting. Alternative 2:

36 mos. combined work experience in multiple areas of assigned responsibility (e.g., infrastructure, database administration, software development, business process analysis) including 12 mos. combined work experience as specified by the agency position description & job posting. Or

equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above. Additional preferred qualifications:

Epic certification in Healthy Planet Population Health

Experience in a hospital and/or clinical setting

Primary Job Skill: Desktop Support

Technical Skills: Information Technology

Professional Skills: Critical Thinking, Customer Focus
