EHS Manager/Nurse

POSITION SUMMARY

Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment, and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards while protecting the employees, customers, and the environment.

Essential Functions:

Inspects the facility and grounds to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.

Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections performed internally and with external parties.

Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.

Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.

Responsible for EHS software and input.

Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.

Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.

Maintains OSHA logs and all regulatory reporting.

Performs occupational nursing duties for the manufacturing facility while overseeing onsite clinic and supplies

Coordinates all PPE

Internal case manager for all Work Comp coordination with insurers Organizes Health fairs along with lunch and learns

KSA and requirements:

Knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and policies.

Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Bachelor's degree in nursing or environmental safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field preferred.

Three years or more preferred experience.
