Davidson is hiring a MBSE Systems Engineer on-site in Colorado Springs, CO who will work with the Air Force designing, developing, and deploying software for the United States' next-generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). This is an opportunity to start with a clean slate, rather than revamping a decades-old missile.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform in a "Model Based Systems Engineering" (MBSE) environment

Analyze users' requirements, concept of operations documents and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications

Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities

Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches and conduct feasibility studies

Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design and technology

Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations

Develop technical, system Architecture and system design documentation

Collaborates with Product Owners regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated issues

Take responsibility for the technical integrity of systems engineering work Job Requirements:

10 years' experience as a software and systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university

4 years of additional software or systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Experience with SysML, UML, or other modeling languages

Excellent organizational and facilitation skills

Self-starter able to step up to difficult challenges Clearance Requirements:
