Job Title: Sr. Automation Test Engineer (Contract)

Location: Orange County, CA Onsite Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Rate: $48.03-$76.85/hr W2

Duration: Contract Potential to Extend

Overview:

We're seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of automated test frameworks for web and business applications. You'll play a key role in maintaining testing standards, improving software quality, and supporting agile development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and C#.

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and development teams throughout the SDLC.

Create and enforce testing standards and documentation.

Troubleshoot defects and performance issues in applications.

Participate in agile ceremonies and provide input on testability.

Provide mentorship on automation best practices and tools. Required Qualifications:

5+ years of QA automation experience (Selenium).

3+ years of programming experience with C#.

Experience with Visual Studio 2019+, Git/Azure DevOps.

Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle. Preferred Skills:

Experience with SQL Server, SpecFlow, Jenkins, Playwright, or Cypress.

Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React).

Background in testing APIs (REST/SOAP).
