DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Duration: 24 Months

Location: Charlotte, NC / Minneapolis, MN / Chandler, AZ - Hybrid Role

Day-to-Day:

• Strictly heads down work. Engineering work

• Daily standups with the team.

Must Haves (and how they are used):

• CICD

• Especially the GitHub, Jenkins, UCD, Harness Artifactory needed.

• Need to have all of those or an equivalent

• Need some oracle. Not an expert or DBA or developer. Enough to know how to deploy oracle and write a SQL queries.

• Need to know how to move data around in oracle

• Little bit of shell scripting. Linux and PowerShell

• Everything is agile. Follow scrum or Kanban. Their team is Kanban

• Service now as a user, how to put changes in production.

• From cloud, pivotal cloud, open shift. They use PCF right now.

Plusses:

• Some cloud is better, but would prefer PCF / AZURE.

• Previous WF is huge especially if they have ETL experience from a policy standpoint

• Financial services isn't really needed. Purely technical
