Role - DevOps Engineer

Location - Austin, TX

Contractual position

Primary Skills:

8-10 years of overall experience and 4 years of application Monitoring & Cloud DevOps

Must have Experience in Java, Python, Linux, Cloud Security, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipeline

Expertise and hands-on experience in architecting and supporting consumer facing, high performance, scalable & reliable Cloud based product / platform on hyperscalar - cloud PaaS services, IAC, automation, multi-cloud/hybrid cloud scenarios

Strong background in Product Development with good exposure to Fullstack, Distributed Microservices, Database, Cloud PaaS/IaaS leverage etc

Knowledge of modern architecture patterns and engineering best practices. Basic knowledge of Infrastructure topology of Cloud based distributed applications with understanding of Deployment architecture, Network & security boundaries, Management Policies etc

Strong experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline in open source tooling .Build end-to-end CI/CD, deployment pipeline for microservices based application for cloud platforms incorporating best practices

Strong expertise in scripting language and Infrastructure as a Code. Expertise in Devops Tools & Framework - Jenkins, Azure Devops, AWS devops services, Terraform, YAML, Ansible, as Chef, Puppet, Git/GitHub, Github Actions, etc

Expertise in the required Tooling to be integarted into the pipeline with DevSecOps and Security in mind (SAST/DAST tools)

Expertise in setting up end to end Automated DevOps pipeline in Dev, QA and Production Environments for Onpremise, Hybrid & cloud native product/platform, addressing NFR - scale, resilience, availability along with high quality high frequency product releases

Define, consult, defend & implement SRE / DevOps frameworks / pipelines for cloud native product/platform, addressing NFR - scale, resilience, availability along with high quality high frequency product releases

Experience in Branching Strategies, Build Job development, Deployment Packaging, and Environment Automation
