Job Title: Senior Structural Professional Engineer Job Location: Based in West Palm, Florida Requirements: 5+ years of recent Residential/Commercial Design Experience & Active PE License Our client is an established firm specializing in new and existing commercial projects and custom residential design.
We’re seeking an individual who is willing to join our team as a Senior Engineer in a full-time position.
The ideal candidate should be proficient at most or all of the following duties:Structural InvestigationsThreshold Inspection and DesignConcrete RestorationExperience with RAM, ETABS, and other structural engineering software preferred.Working knowledge of Revit Structure preferred.
ResponsibilitiesConduct field inspections and initial site visits to assess structural integrity and project requirements.Perform comprehensive inspections covering foundations, framing, and final construction stagesGenerate clear, accurate, and code-compliant structural designs and notes for building and home designsFamiliarize oneself with company projects and internal operations, including understanding the scope of work, running calculations and analysis for design, and delegating tasks to the drafting team.Assist in training new engineers on design principles and establish training protocols for new engineers/interns.QC milestone and recertification reports for newer engineers, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to company standards.Conduct internal team backchecks on calculations, redlines, and drawings for quality, content, and detail accuracy.
