Gastroenterology Physician

Job Opportunity: Physician - Gastroenterology in Columbus, OH

Join a dynamic Gastroenterology practice located just 15 minutes from downtown Columbus, Ohio. This facility, Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital, is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and support to its growing patient network. You'll be part of a team that combines a blend of outpatient office, endoscopy, and inpatient coverage in a modern facility that opened in 2019. Enjoy working in a healing environment with dedicated support and a large, established referral base. Job Responsibilities:

Provide quality patient care in a team-centered environment.

Conduct outpatient consultations and perform endoscopic procedures.

Manage inpatient coverage as needed.

Utilize EMR - EPIC for patient documentation.

Participate in a consultative hospital service.

Engage in shared on-call responsibilities (1:4 ratio, including some weekends).

Support patients and staff in a beautiful, patient-friendly setting.

Possibility to assist with advanced endoscopy cases (preferred but not required). Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.

Preferred 3-5 years of post-graduate work experience, but GI fellows are encouraged to apply.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine is highly preferred.

Must hold an active Ohio medical license or be willing to obtain one.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required. License and Certification Requirements:

Ohio medical license (required).

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).

Visa support for J1 or H1B candidates (if applicable).
