Description:

My client is a leading player in the e-bike and retail industry in North America, known for developing and distributing innovative, high-quality, and inclusive products that promote an active lifestyle. With a strong track record in the U.S. market, they are now expanding into Europe and will be opening a new office in Munich.

Summary:

They are currently seeking a CTG Designer to take full ownership of the color, trim, and graphics (CTG) identity across their product lineup. From concept to final execution, this person will shape how each e-bike looks and feels by applying cohesive color strategies, finishes, and graphic applications that reflect the brand’s adventurous spirit. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer with a strong sense of trend forecasting, surface finishing, and product aesthetics—especially within the outdoor or mobility industries.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a cohesive CTG strategy for the full e-bike lineup.

Design and apply color palettes, materials, finishes, and graphics across all bike models and components.

Produce production-ready artwork and detailed specification sheets for decals, frame designs, and branding elements.

Research and forecast trends in color, materials, and finishes across adjacent industries (e.g., automotive, fashion, sports).

Collaborate with internal engineering, marketing, and external suppliers to ensure accurate implementation.

Align product aesthetics with the overall brand vision through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in CTG design, product graphics, or surface design—preferably in cycling, automotive, outdoor, or consumer goods sectors.

Strong portfolio showcasing work in color systems, graphic applications, and material finishes.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with 3D visualization tools (e.g., KeyShot, Blender) is a plus.

In-depth understanding of production processes for decals, paint, and textured applications.

Excellent organizational and communication skills, especially when working with international teams.

Familiarity with AI-powered tools for design ideation and mockups.

Fluent in both German and English.

A genuine passion for cycling and adventure is highly desirable.

What’s Offered:

30 days annual leave

Employee discounts on e-bikes

Rapid personal and career growth opportunities

Team-building activities (e.g., company events, after-work bike tours)

Additional benefits are currently in development

If you're looking to help shape the European launch of a well-established e-bike brand and bring bold design aesthetics to life, this role offers an exciting opportunity to do just that.
