Aerotek is seeking a Conveyor Maintenance Technician for a distribution company located in North Memphis. This position is a 6 month contract to hire role paying up to $25/hr (with a 15.9% differential for 34.5 hours) Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6pm-6am
Once full time, the base pay will jump to $30.75, with a night/weekend differential.

**Minimum experience 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance (manufacturing/distribution) OR industrial maintenance schooling.
Responsibilities
Perform various skilled tasks in troubleshooting and repairing conveyor equipment and sorters, laser scanning equipment, side scanners, electronic circuits, motors, gear reducers, gearboxes, drives, rollers, belts, photo eyes, control panels, pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
Utilize specialized skills in electrical systems, control systems, and material handling equipment to troubleshoot and repair issues.
Use root-cause problem-solving tools to develop corrective action plans.
Track maintenance schedules, maintenance hours, spare parts consumption, and warranty information.
Support maintenance record-keeping in CMMS and manage spare parts storeroom locations.
Monitor MHE equipment and report any unplanned equipment or process malfunctions.
Collaborate with contractors, equipment rental vendors, and specialized MHE trades as necessary.
Support all control room and maintenance storeroom operations, including fabrication utilizing cut and weld equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of worksite locations in the shop and on the DC floor after completing repairs.
Participate in safety training, advanced skills training, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
Ensure all work is completed using appropriate safety guidelines.
Essential Skills
Experience with conveyors, mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gear reducers, motors, and electronic circuits.
Technical schooling for industrial maintenance or at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
