**Shift:** PM (10-hour shifts, Tuesday to Friday, 1 PM - 11:30 PM)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our radiology team. Under the general supervision of a Radiologist, the CT Technologist will perform CT procedures, acquiring digital images essential for diagnosing and treating various diseases. This role involves planning and performing all CT procedures while ensuring adherence to established protocols and clinical criteria.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to capture high-quality images for diagnostic use.
- Maintain proficiency in operating different CT systems at multiple locations.
- Follow ImageGently Guidelines to establish and maintain protocols that ensure patient safety and image quality.
- Obtain CT images based on established protocols, ensuring patients are properly prepared, positioned, and shielded.
- Perform CT Interventional Procedures and advanced CTA imaging including Carotid, Head, Vertebral, Run-Offs, and critical bolus timing for PE studies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and physics to optimize imaging quality and reduce patient exposure to radiation.
- Interpret technical factors to enhance scan quality or efficiency.
- Maintain accountability for professional obligations while adhering to all organizational policies and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required).
- Certification as a CT Technologist (Preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a clinical environment.
