Automation Personnel Services is looking for a reliable and motivated Receiving Stocker for a company based in Southwest Houston, Texas. The Receiving Stocker is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, with a focus on flange and fitting products. This role also involves managing, organizing, consolidating, and retrieving stock in a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Pay Rate

$16.00 an hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

Stocker Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and verify merchandise for accuracy

• Inspect and validate flange/fitting materials and ensure proper handling

• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on organizational standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work area—sweep, mop, and sanitize as needed

• Perform inventory stocking moves in the system to maintain accuracy

• Always wear appropriate PPE

• Follow all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Stocker Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience with valves, fittings, and pipe systems.

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience in shipping and receiving

• Experience handling flange and fitting materials preferred

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player

• Strict adherence to safety policies and procedures

• Experience operating warehouse equipment (sit-down forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, etc.)
