Description:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Distribution and Warehousing, the Warehouse Coordinator provides support to the warehouse and distribution teams by executing regular administrative tasks and liaises with the Warehouse Supervisors, Customer Service team, Finance team, and 3rd party Logistics partners to support order delivery, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and various other related processes.

Responsibilities:

Logistics & Coordination

Lead product import/Bond processes (inbound/outbound coordination, document processing, destruction coordination, inter-org transfers). Communicate with CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency), BCLDB (British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch), and partners as required.

Coordinate and communicate shipments/deliveries with 3rd party carriers

Coordinate domestic product disposition - BOL (Bill of Lading) creation, 3rd party communication/coordination

Organize and process customer product returns – RMAs (Return Materials Authorizations), defective kegs, keg credits)

Inventory & Warehouse Management

Inventory management: cycle counting, co-pack processing, inventory transaction analysis

Enter and manage inbound/outbound loads in Warehouse Management System (Apex) and ERP (Oracle)

Release orders from Oracle to Apex for shipment

Prioritize orders in Apex for warehouse order assemblers

Enter data for consumable inventory counts

Systems & Documentation

Generate invoices for direct delivery orders

Enter data for key metric performance reporting

Process Return Materials Authorizations

General & Administrative

Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:

These are core to performing the role effectively:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferably in a warehouse/distribution environment

Computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office programs

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., Apex) and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (e.g., Oracle) preferred.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; able to write and format correspondence

Time management skills, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment involving conflicting priorities with a high sense of urgency

Accuracy and organization skills to maintain filing systems and basic databases

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Post-secondary education in a related field

Knowledge of provincial liquor board or government regulations

Knowledge of local and out-of-town delivery areas

Working Conditions:

Perform work in an office environment approximately 90% of the time; the remainder of time is spent in a warehouse environment

Required to wear proper PPE to mitigate hazards associated with warehouse environment
