Domain Lead Payroll – 100% Homeoffice

To be successful in this journey, we are looking for a dedicated Finnish and English speaking Payroll Expert (full work from home) to join our team in Finland.

What does your future job look like?

Manage quality assurance programs, and strategize process improvements

Ability to work with an international team to run multi country payroll processing from offshore

Responsible for overseeing and directing payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations, supervising the payroll team, and maintaining accurate payroll records

Coordinate activities with other client departments to ensure successful testing and implementation of tax updates, year-end testing on multiple or single payroll ERP for all regions

Broad understanding and ability to research and interpret payroll laws

Maintain the requisite Payroll reports for SOX or other local compliance. Handle employment termination payments and exceptions

Ensures compliance with applicable payroll tax and labor law requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Ensures that internal SOPs and statutory regulations summaries are continuously updated and reflect the latest regulations and process updates

Answers consultants’ procedural questions by researching and interpreting SOPs and statutory regulations.

help bridge knowledge gaps within the team and overcome problems

Handle User/customer escalations and formulate actions to resolve any concerns and ownership till resolution

identify process improvement opportunities and support/lead transformation & automations projects

Minimum of 6-8 years of experience of Finnish payroll processing experience

Experience to work with international (offshore) teams

Good experience in coordinating Payroll inputs and validation

Experience in HRMS/ERP like (SAP, SuccessFactors, workday etc.) and in MS Office

Strong Teamplayer

Stress resistant

English fluent
