Lead Cost Engineer

Role Context:

Worley are currently bidding for a well-recognized Danish green hydrogen project (EPCM), this project is set to start in the south of Denmark and EPCm is estimated to run for 4 years. This project is part of a large European strategy and is important in Denmark's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and improve renewable energy. The project includes a greenfield large onshore pipeline and an existing methane pipeline. Please note this role is subject to project award on a contractual basis. For this project in particular we require individuals that are already based in Denmark as no relocation assistance will be provided.

You’ll be:

Required to produce accurate TIC cost reports as per contractual and Worley requirements.

Responsible for managing all aspects of cost control for allocated package of work including; budgets, commitments, VOWD, accrual generation and forecasts for labour, sub-contract and procurement costs.

Comfortable communicating cost data with Client and Worley stakeholders.

Providing input & to review Project Controls procedures such as invoicing procedure, budget and cost control procedure, accounting & invoicing procedure, change order procedure ensuring compliance with all Contractual and Worley requirements.

Preparing monthly internal cost reporting such as finance statements for Worley Management.

Communicating month end results with the Client and Worley Management.

Responsible for all Cost aspects of Project close-out and benchmarking.

Required to promote good working relationships within the Project Controls Teams and other project departments and client representatives.

Required to show commitment to and promote Worley values and ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures.

You'll have/bring

• Several years cost control experience within energy, O&G, Renewables or relevant industry

• Previous EPCM cost experience

• Extensive knowledge of cost control/reporting techniques & methods

• Knowledge of contract terms & conditions related to cost, payments, penalties, insurances, guarantees & similar items and physical progress measurement system.
