Lead Planning Engineer - EPCM

Weekly updating of the Worley master control schedule in Primavera P6 and weekly reporting and forecasting is an essential part of this role.

Worley are currently bidding for a well-recognized Danish green hydrogen project (EPCM), this project is set to start in the south of Denmark and EPCm is estimated to run for 4 years. This project is part of a large European strategy and is important in Denmark's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and improve renewable energy. The project includes a greenfield large onshore pipeline and an existing methane pipeline. Please note this role is subject to project award on a contractual basis. For this project in particular we require individuals that are already based in Denmark as no relocation assistance will be provided.

You'll do/carry out:

• Responsible for the development, maintenance and monitoring of schedules and associated documents.

• Tasked with preparing, owning and maintaining resource loaded schedules for sub-elements of major projects.

• Maintaining the schedules and reporting any variances or issues related to them.

• Carrying out all works in compliance with corporate and Project specific procedures.

• IT/Computer Literacy in particular Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrates enthusiasm, initiative and drive.

• Required to communicate effectively with others adjusting style content to the audience.

• Required to show commitment to and promote Worley values and ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures.

• Review the project requirements, and the constructability checklist to identify critical execution issues, and assist with the overall schedule and the construction execution plan.

• Assist with dates for turnover of the systems, and groups of systems, setting realistic milestones for the Construction Contractors to achieve

• Experience in an EPCm planning role

• Several years’ experience using Primavera P6 planning application

• Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills

• Experience with construction plans and specifications, tracking TQs and submittal's, and developing project documentation

• Experience tracking and analysing cost and schedule and knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera is essential.
