Position: Accounting Manager

Reports to: Director of Accounting

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000

Superior is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead and manage our Accounting function. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing a team of direct reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and supporting the month-end close process. In addition, the role includes cash forecasting and select treasury functions. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals and collaborate with broader Finance team

Manage working capital including cash flow forecasting and daily cash management

Oversee the completion of monthly account reconciliations

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and assist with regulatory reporting

Support quarterly and annual financial audit and tax activities

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Promote strong GAAP compliance and internal controls

Your Expertise

Required: You have at least 8 years of experience in Corporate Accounting, Treasury, or a related field

Required: You earned your bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Bonus Points: You have your CPA

Bonus Points: You’re familiar with Accounting in the construction industry
