Are you a seasoned accounting leader with a passion for wine and production environments? We’re seeking a Controller to oversee the financial health of a multi-entity winery operation. What You’ll Do:

Lead all financial reporting and month-end close processes

Prepare and analyze internal financial statements and performance reports

Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures

Manage budgeting and forecasting by department and entity

Collaborate cross-functionally with operations to ensure inventory accuracy

Supervise and mentor a high-performing accounting team

Coordinate external audits and tax filings in partnership with CPAs

Departmental budget development and variance analysis

Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger mapping

Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring

Oversight of inventory accounting and operational costs

Team leadership, coaching, and performance management

Support strategic decisions through special projects and ad hoc analysis

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred

6+ years in accounting leadership, including prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience

Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls

Experience in the wine industry or similar manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Exceptional Excel skills and familiarity with modern ERP systems

Confident communicator with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
