Primary purpose of the position:
The Associate Marketing Analyst coordinates and executes marketing tactics and initiatives to support of the Aluminum Cup go-to-market plans specifically in the retail and e-commerce space.
Essential Responsible Areas:
Supports new product development process; which includes: working the concept through a stage gate approval process, coordinating and tracking the cross functional activity of data set up, collateral creation and packaging material development to increase assortment/visibility on shelf with new pack sizes and LTO’s
Contributes to the creation and execution of marketing collateral, conduct regular reviews of collateral, and support key retailers on an ongoing basis
Leads and works with agencies, cross-functional partners and the Cups plant on projects for brand growth activities
Develops content for email marketing, print materials, paid digital campaigns (e.g., social media, display ads), website, and digital coupons
Leads e-commerce channel, both strategy and execution working with agencies and commercial team
Write marketing copy for print pieces, digital media and social media
Identify and implement best practices in Shopper marketing strategies both on-line and off-line
Experience with trade shows and creating collateral for sales team
Ability to build brand communication campaigns into retailer and ecommerce specific marketing plans
Monitor and report competitors' marketing and sales activities
Assist with market research and analysis to develop an understanding of market trends and competitive products
Supports marketing and commercial team as needed
Position Requirement & competencies:
Professional & Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in marketing, communications or related, required.
Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience in a similar role
Knowledge in Retail and ecommerce channels – i.e. segmentation dynamics, key players, distribution systems, decision making processes, supporting vendors
Must have CPG, Shopper Marketing, Brand Management background
Skills/Knowledge
Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Audience Insights and other digital / social content tools
Helpful to have “hands-on” experience launching new products – particularly in the consumer goods space, ecommerce and big box retail environments – from opportunity identification to concept development to activation and distribution building
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Articulate – ability to speak publicly and engage groups both small and large as functional “expert”, especially in direct customer engagements
Results Oriented–A desire to make things happen, sets stretch goals, and motivates others to achieve them. Always looking to create a better result for customers.
Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and a team player
Experience leading projects or owning project deliverables
Comfortable in start-up / scale-up environment, ability to work independently
Manufacturing and/or beverage packaging industry preferred
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred
Experience with Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, or other video editing software is preferred but not required
Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovative marketing tactics · Strong collaboration skills
