Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting educational data to improve academic outcomes and support strategic planning. You will work closely with academic leaders, administrators, and staff to drive data-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze academic, attendance, and operational data to identify trends and insights.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for leadership and staff.

Support data reporting for state and federal compliance, including PEIMS and STAAR analysis.

Collaborate with educators and administrators to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress.

Provide actionable recommendations based on data to support student achievement and school improvement efforts.

Maintain data integrity and ensure confidentiality in line with FERPA and school policies.

Assist with grant reporting and program evaluations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in an educational setting.

Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Familiarity with educational data systems (e.g., PEIMS, Skyward, Eduphoria) is a plus.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
