About the Role
The Data Controller role is a 12-month fixed-term contract within our Brand Change & Innovation team sitting in our Global Technical function, reporting directly to our Data Control Team Leader.
This position plays a key role in supporting brand change activity by ensuring the accurate creation, development and maintenance of all product data across Scotland, Baileys, Mexico and our China Hub operations. This includes managing core product data, setting up bills of materials and creating specifications for new packaging components and liquids.
The role is essential in ensuring that all new product launches are delivered on time, meeting project deadlines and brand change KPI targets.
There is also an exciting opportunity to develop your change management skills by supporting or leading Improve and Transform initiatives within the team.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and deliver all project data requirements for small to large scale brand change initiatives on behalf of the project team.
Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met and Right First Time (RFT) KPIs are achieved.
Proactively manage the product lifecycle, including the creation, development, and maintenance of all production data. This includes generating new material and liquid specifications across various systems and applications such as SAP, PLM and Excel.
Ensure compliance with all relevant processes for data closedown of brand change projects, working closely with the Project Manager to achieve project closedown KPIs.
Manage shared inbox requests for product and site data on a rotational basis, including the generation of new barcodes for product introductions.
Take responsibility for identifying and contributing to Improve workstreams, supporting process reviews and updates where required.

The ability to work quickly and accurately, even when under pressure.
Strong communication and organisational skills to keep projects on track.
A proactive approach, taking ownership and accountability for project data.
Knowledge of SAP ECC and PLM (advantageous but not essential).
Confidence using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
