Join FUJIFILM Biotechnologies as Manager, Process Analytics where you will play a pivotal role in pioneering the PAT platform at FLBD. Bring your team to the forefront as you align cross-site Raman strategies, lead continuous improvement of our data applications and practices in the Process Science department, and support success of partner programs within a dynamic environment.

About The Position:

As the Manager of Process Analytics, you will lead the development and implementation of a robust PAT (Process Analytical Technology) platform, ensuring strategic alignment within FLBD and across our global sites. You will manage a small but growing team of process data scientists, playing a key role in supporting partner programs, real time continuous process monitoring, regulatory reporting, in-house data management applications, and data transfer.

Required Qualifications:

MSc in Biotechnology or similar with 10-15 years industry experience, or PhD with at least 7-12 years in bioprocessing/manufacturing industry, PAT platforms, GMP, data management and data analytics software applications.

Expertise in implementation of Raman spectroscopy and other PAT technologies for large-scale bioprocess applications, including implementation, operation, use cases and model development.

At least 3 years of management experience.

Strong bioprocess manufacturing understanding including different process steps/segments, CPP’s and CQA’s.

Implementation of real-time data analytics for process control in biomanufacturing.

Experience harmonizing technology strategies across global sites, particularly around data and digital for bioprocess manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, regulatory frameworks and reports (CPV, CSR, APQR), analytical method development and validation, and compliance in data engineering for biomanufacturing.

Customer facing experience in subject matter expert role and supporting commercial teams.

Excellent cross communication and technical writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience from CDMO/CMO industry.

Proficient in bioprocess scale-up/scale-down methods, lab equipment, tech transfer and process optimization.

Data analytics, hybrid modeling, digital twins, DOE, QbD for bioprocess.

Advanced systems engineering for bioprocess control utilizing PAT frameworks.

SQL, Python, Streamlit, SIMCA-online, Statistica. ISA-95, data models, GAMP-5, FAIR.

Understanding of software lifecycles, process for development, validation, maintenance and support.
