Test various mainframe applications and web applications for new changes, enhancements, and defect fixes, as well as understand business functionality of applications. Analyze requirements for new projects and determine project enhancements. Analyze acceptance criteria for user stories in Agile and attend daily standup meetings and provide status updates. Develop and maintain regression suites. Estimate story points for user stories, provide QA estimates for projects that require support, and prepare test plans, test strategies, and test case documents. Upload and execute QA test cases, log defects and track them to ensure they are corrected, review test cases and analyze results. Perform test data creation and mock runs. Involved in coding, unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, integration
testing, and end-to-end testing. Create and execute jobs for volume regression. Develop Java microservices. Hybrid work schedule.
The experience and education requirements are:
Five years of experience as a programmer analyst or testing analyst. Must have experience with: Testing applications in Mainframe, Desktop, and Web; Functional, Regression, Integration, and Automation testing; Mainframe development, impact analysis, unit testing, requirements gathering, and analysis; Core Java, SpringBoot, JUnit, and Maven; React framework, JavaScript, and HTML; AWS services and AWS cloud foundation; DB2 and Teradata; defect tracking and management using JIRA.
Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering
