HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS

FRIDAY TO MONDAY ROTA - DAYS AND NIGHTS

£16.00 - £20.35 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Newton Heath, Manchester.

Rates of Pay

£16.00 per hour Monday - Friday day shifts

£17.00 per hour Saturday day shifts

£18.35 per hour Sunday day shifts

£17.00 per hour Monday - Friday night shifts

£17.55 per hour Saturday night shifts

£20.35 per hour Sunday night shifts

Day to Day Duties

Drive Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently

Complete 2-4 deliveries/trunking per shift

Ensuring all loads are safe and secure

Carry out vehicle inspections and report any faults to management

Ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner

Communicate any issues / delays effectively

Abide by all working time rules and regulations

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence

At least two years' experience driving Category CE vehicles

Hold a valid CPC and digital tachograph card

No more than six points for MINOR offences (No IN10, DR10, DD10)

Good customer service and communication skills

Desirable Experience

Over two years experience driving Category CE vehicles

Training

Must pass a one-hour company assessment, both written and practical

Industry related training and support provided throughout
