WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As an IT Application Manager at BREn, you will play a crucial role in managing our Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system to ensure functionality as well as continuous improvement for seamless operations.

You monitor daily operations to ensure the ETRM system’s availability, performance and reliability, supporting trading activities.

As the central point of contact for traders, risk managers and digitalization teams, you assist with configuration, troubleshooting and reporting.

Stay updated on new trends in energy trading to optimize processes within the ETRM environment, collaborating with software providers on upgrades and support.

Also, you provide training for employees, create helpful user manuals and ensure documentation of all system processes.

Lastly, you organize books according to strategic guidelines and carry out portfolio adjustments to accurately determine operational positions.

WHAT YOU OFFER

experience in energy markets, a relevant degree, and at least 5 years of experience in managing ETRM systems with Kisters ERisk/Belvis or similar applications

strong analytical skills and a good understanding of numerical data

proficiency in system analysis, troubleshooting, and user support

excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skill in English, German is a plus

familiarity with programming languages and data analysis tools is an advantage
