We’re looking for a IT System Engineer-Service Delivery & Integration Lead, to reinforce the team in our Italy office!

You will be involved in integration activities and play a key role in our Team working on Services related to Destination Earth (DestinE) initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work on various aspects of Software System Engineering, including end-to-end service design, integration, evolution and project management.

Main Responsibilities:

Overseeing service design and development activities, coordinating efforts among various internal and external stakeholders.

Managing and coordinating integration activities for new services, ensuring their smooth and effective consolidation into our platform.

Acting as a primary point of contact for external companies during service development and deployment phases, addressing their queries and providing necessary technical and coordination support.

Technically facilitating collaboration between external companies and internal development teams for joint work.

Supporting corrective and evolutive maintenance activities, assisting the follow-up of technical teams, performing troubleshooting, and conducting technical analysis to resolve issues.

Your skills:

A Degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Technical Sciences or equivalent is required.

Proven experience in service integration and delivery.

Working experience in project management, or leading software development teams.

Working experience in software design and development.

Strong understanding of cloud platforms.

Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.

Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.

Experience working with external vendors and cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of Linux/Unix Operating System environment.

Working experience in containerized applications (e.g. Docker).

Capability of writing technical documentation.

English Level B2 (Upper-Intermediate), written and spoken .

Desirables:

Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of containers orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).

Experience of System Engineering processes (e.g., ECSS standard).

Working experience with Cloud infrastructure and pipeline deployment.

Knowledge of Earth Observation satellite data product formats.

Knowledge of Destination Earth (DestinE) programme.

Critical thinking and self-organization skills.
