Customer Service Associate / Dispatch - (Transportation / Logistics)

Job Description

D&G Transportation is looking for a customer service representative to join our team in our Germantown office. This person will be a key component of a team, servicing the upper and lower Midwest, and the Southwest region of the United States.

Responsibilities:

Manage customer communications - Answer incoming calls and emails to address customer questions, requests, and issues

Data Entry - Enter orders into our TMS with extreme accuracy

Maintain working knowledge - Aid in troubleshooting daily issues, communicating directly with our OTR drivers (OSD, Detention, properly reporting delays, recording and entering unloading fees), and progression of trips through the TMS system.

Requirements:

2+ years proven experience in trucking, food service, logistics, or a similar related field

Driver's license and reliable transportation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to address complaints and issues with effective solutions

Passion for customer service with a smile and positive attitude

Time-management and prioritization skills

Familiarity with a TMS system
