Openings: Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) I-II
Duration: Through 2033
Location: F.E. Warren AFB, WY
Supporting: DoD USAF
Rate: $25.48 - 30.68/hour (some flex)
Clearance: Interim Secret (willingness to upgrade to TS/SCI)
Interview Process: 1-Round; Virtual
Onboarding: 2-4 weeks
Primary Function:
Provide day-to-day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) construction efforts.
Responsibilities:
Assess, identify, and communicate recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.
Identify threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
Draft security incident reports and brief government and civilian agencies, including military senior leaders.
Manage uniformed escort personnel and associated logs.
Assign, train, and brief site security duties.
Ensure timely reporting of security incidents to the site lead.
Follow and enforce customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative.
Conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in the construction of secure spaces.
Photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces.
Document all steps to support final accreditation packets.
Experience Requirements:
CST I: 1-2 years of related experience
CST II: 3-5 years of related experience
Related Experience:
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC): Counts towards 3 years of experience.
Special Program Security Certification (SPSC): Counts towards 5 years of experience.
Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications: No more than 5 years.
Desired Experience:
Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 regarding SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree: Desired; counts towards 4 years of experience.
Associate’s Degree: Counts towards 2 years of experience.
Security Clearance:
Must obtain an Interim Secret clearance to start.
Willing and able to obtain up to a TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph.
Other Requirements:
Complete additional safety training and/or certification as required by the local site within the first 30 days of hire:

Must obtain CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course completion within the first 30 days of hire.
