Main Responsibilities
1. Record and process data related to port operations, including data about ships, cargo, also loading and unloading processes.
2. Carry out the loading and unloading activities, also cargo moving from ships to ports or ports to ships includes heavy equipment operation such as cranes, forklifts, or conveyors for lifting and moving cargo.
3. Check various documents, invoices, and permits required related to cargo shipping for ensure compliance with customs and port regulations.
4. Make an operational plan before carrying out the work.
5. Draw a stowage plan (if it’s needed) for the job realization process.
6. Create and submit operational costs
7. Coordinate with appointed vendors to carry out the work process.
8. Communicate to Marketing Team to report work progress.
9. Ensure operational documents are appropriate and correct, which will later be collected to be used as the basis for reports and billing.
10. Conduct coordination meetings with customers/vendors.
11. Conduct direct monitoring/supervision in the field to ensure activities run according to existing plans and work procedures.
12. Conduct regular vendor performance evaluation.
13. Make a work report and submit it to supervisor/related parties.
14. Actively participate in maintaining occupational safety and health, and be involved in every QHSE program in the company.
15. Give advice for the progress of the company, as well as actively participating in improvement initiatives for incompatibility that occur in the work process.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications
1. Posses Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Logistic/Engineering/Management/Law/Communication
2. Must have at least 2 years experience as operational staff in logistic/forwarding/similar industries, or 3 years experience as operational staff in various industries
3. Good knowledge and technical understanding in operational logistic activity
4. Good knowledge and understanding about logistic industry and related aspect, also possess basic computer knowledge and technical data processing
5. Have a strong communicational and analytical skill
6. Have at least passive (written) English skill
