Your responsibilities

Support the annual preparation of the Sustainability Report in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), including audit processes

Actively contribute to writing and editing the Sustainability Report in line with CSRD/ESRS requirements

Assist in conducting materiality assessments (double materiality)

Collect, process, and analyze quantitative and qualitative ESG data (Environmental, Social, Governance)

Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders

Support the further development of the company’s sustainability strategy

Prepare decision-making documents and presentations

Monitor regulatory developments in the field of sustainability and ESG

Work closely with the leadership of the Körber-wide sustainability initiative

Your profile

Successfully completed university degree in Sustainability/ESG Management, Business Administration, Natural or Engineering Sciences with a relevant focus

Initial professional experience in sustainability/ESG reporting, ideally in accordance with CSRD, GRI, or compliance standards, gained in consulting firms or international industrial companies

Knowledge of the current legal and political framework as well as key sustainability standards and guidelines (e.g. CSRD / ESRS, EU Taxonomy, Omnibus; ideally also GRI, IIRC, GHG Protocol, SDGs, DRS 20, ISO 26000)

Excellent writing skills and experience in drafting reports or editorial content based on CSRD/ESRS

Strong project management and/or process methodology skills

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; ideally experience with ESG reporting tools

Excellent command of German and English

Analytical, independent, and structured working style

Confident demeanor, initiative, strong communication and teamwork skills

Enthusiasm for sustainability and strong motivational and assertive abilities
