Well Control Engineer

JOB DETAILS: Primary function: Responsible for technical support and data management related to well control during site operations and assist the Well Control Manager in carrying out well control management.

Responsibilities: Conduct routine well control management and develop well control management system documents.

Participate in well control inspections and acceptance of well control equipment from drilling contractors on site, summarize non-conforming items and supervise relevant rectifications.

Organize and join/incorporate well control inspection prior to drilling into the reservoir information.

Track the improvement and implementation of well control technical measures of each single well.

Supervises the standardized installation of well control equipment, the inspection and recording of well control emergency materials, promptly coordinate and deal with problems found.

Perform other duties assigned by superiors.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion, or the related.

At least 4 years of working experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Knowledge: Basic knowledge of drilling & completion operations and well control Knowledge of the local petroleum regulations and laws.

Understanding of drilling & completion general procedure.
