JOB DETAILS: Primary function: Execute oilfield production operations and support with production maintenance work.
Identify production issues, try to resolve and report abnormalities to the senior operator.
Responsibilities: Participate in new oilfield production commissioning and start-up.
Collect and follow up production-related issues left out by the Engineering Team.
Prepare Emergency response as per Emergency Response Plan.
Execute instructions from the Production supervisor.
Well-versed in the production process, including central control systems, ESD (Emergency Shutdown), Fire & Gas systems, equipment parameters, and operational procedures.
Knowledgeable in chemical properties and MSDS, as well as system start-up (initial and normal) and shutdown procedures (both normal and emergency) Carry out normal routine onsite operations, deal with production abnormalities to avoid production shutdown, equipment damage, or any petroleum-related leakages.
Operate Oil\Water\Gas and chemical onsite process, maintain process stability, and treat oil and water to meet specifications.
Execute production-related equipment normal routine checks and records, report abnormalities to senior operators timely.
Carry out production-related equipment preventive maintenance.
Coordinate and supervise production-related contractor onsite work.
Work as a mentor for national operators.
Conduct onsite training.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum engineering or related field.
At least 8 years’ onsite experience in Oil & Gas production process operations.
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of development and production Extensive experience in oil production management Familiar with international oil industry practice.
