What you’ll be doing:
Define and report on KPIs for the Logistics (transport and Storage) activities within Land UK
Actively support major Projects and Bids with Logistics expertise (with regards to organisation, structure and resourcing of Transport and Storage)
Analyse, improve if needed and document Internal Processes for movements of goods, including goods classified as (Dangerous Goods)
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
High level of competency in end to end Supply chain, including Internal and External Logistics, Warehousing and Transport
Strong Project Management experience and stakeholder management at all levels
Significant experience across Logistics/supply chain industry with a subsequent toolset and network

At BAE Systems Land UK, we focus on suppling UK MoD and our other (mostly NATO) customers with high quality ammunition for their troops, vehicles and artillery systems. Having recently joined our colleagues from Maritime Services within the Defence Solutions Division, our focus is to be the provider of choice for all systems we supply.
The Planning and Logistics team is on a journey to become the enabler and driver of our Manufacturing Operations in service of our Integrated Delivery Teams. Our role is critical in ensuring the Land UK business delivers to our customer’s expectations in the context of increasing global demand.
