POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Document Control Specialist position is responsible for quality and production documentation review, product release, and ensuring all customer/ regulatory documentation requirements are communicated to the Quality Department and sent to the customer as required.
LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and review data and documentation in DrinkPAK’s Quality Doc Management systems.
Maintain and review data and documentation for both in-process and finished goods. Provide documentation to customers and DrinkPAK departments.
Work with groups within the organization to obtain up-to-date and accurate documentation supporting ongoing projects. Daily activities could support the new product introduction process, technical customer response, and other documentation.
Work within established processes and procedures to improve the flow of information within DrinkPAK and externally with customers. Assist with the development of these procedures and processes.
Work with Quality leadership team on new product approval and customer requirements
Work independently with various departments, including but not limited to Logistics, Quality, and Operations
Always ensure the accuracy of data and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Document Control related role is required.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the food industry required.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience with customers, suppliers, and departments within a related role
Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a team player with all levels of the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
