As an Associate Client Manager at NTT DATA, you'll immerse yourself in the dynamic world of client management and sales. Starting as an entry-level subject matter expert, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow. Your primary role will be to support our Client Management team in managing and expanding client relationships. This role focuses on driving expansion and renewals across all solutions within your assigned accounts.
Your day will involve collaborating with clients to understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth. You'll help minimize churn and maximize client retention while learning to uncover new opportunities. You'll engage with clients, address their concerns, and recommend possible solutions, all under the guidance of experienced team members.
You'll also learn how to generate demand by identifying client needs and engaging them through digital marketing channels. Building enduring relationships will be key as you develop an understanding of clients' industries, business environments, and strategies. Your goal will be to articulate how our services and solutions can add value, focusing on high-value services (HVS) offerings.
Daily tasks will include using our sales tools to effectively manage territory, accounts, opportunities, pipelines, and forecasts. You'll work closely with vendors to achieve desired outcomes and develop open channels of communication with each client within your assigned accounts. You'll also assist in revenue growth by inspiring clients to procure additional services.
Your role will involve achieving performance targets, managing risks, and ensuring financial governance and compliance. You'll learn how to monitor and control these aspects while implementing governance policies in your practice area. This role is all about developing your skills, growing lasting client relationships, and becoming a reliable point of contact for our clients.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
Sales business acumen with an understanding of client business, including commercial and financial aspects.
Skills to manage and analyze client relationships throughout their lifecycle.
Knowledge of our offerings, market trends, and the ability to apply these to individual client needs as an expert advisor.
Ability to create and advance opportunities at assigned prospects and clients.
Entry-level experience in sales, customer service, or a fast-paced sales environment.
Strong communication skills, capable of building trust and effective relationships.
Developing skills to articulate the value of our services and solutions with a focus on HVS offerings.
Eagerness to achieve performance targets and a client-service orientation.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a sales-related field.
