Position Summary:
As a Branch Manager, one will be given the opportunity to make life easier for our customers and communities we serve by providing omni-channel banking solutions to achieve financial wellbeing. Branch managers are encouraged and supported to reach individual career goals and ambitions while coaching the branch team to their greatest potential. In this position, you will be responsible for deepening customer relationships by engaging in intentional conversations with current and prospective customers all while providing a unique customer experience. The Branch Manager will lead and coach the branch staff to consistently deliver exceptional service while maintaining consistency to reduce operational and reputational risk.
Essential Responsibilities:
Manage overall branch office operations.
Manage profitability of the branch.
Conduct outside business development calls which includes prospecting, retention and growth of business customers.
Promote and cross-sell the bank’s products and services.
Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business, referrals and retention of account relationships.
Handle customer requests regarding lending needs.
Develop and train staff to successfully perform job responsibilities and advance their career within the bank.
Review branch staff for performance evaluations and approve salary recommendations.
Maintain knowledge of branch policies and procedures.
Manage customer problems/complaints; counsel customers with special needs or requests.
Provide leadership, training and supervision to staff through coaching, branch sales and operations meetings.
Participate in community involvement.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
Two to five years experience in a financial institution preferred.
Two to five years of experience in Management.
New accounts and IRA experience preferred.
Loan experience preferred.
Strong business development skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong interpersonal communications skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office products.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to supervise, monitor and evaluate the work of others.
