Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager helps lead the day-to-day operations of the bar while carrying out our mission and focusing on our core values. This position collaborates with the General Manager to ensure compliance with company standards in all areas of bar operations, including drink menus and drink preparation, customer relations, bar maintenance and repair, inventory management, hiring and retention of team members, staff training and education, staff discipline and terminations, and financial accountability.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
2 years of experience in a high-volume bar as a lead bartender, trainer, or floor manager
Must have experience bartending in a high-volume craft cocktail establishment
Proven leadership experience with exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including training, coaching and development
Focus on Cleanliness, Hospitality, A-Game, Teamwork and Sales
Must be proactive and choose to make a positive impact daily
Experience in managing inventory
Experience in payroll process
Work well under pressure and ensure fast, accurate service
Detail-oriented
Process and systems-oriented
Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
Must be proficient with POS systems
Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
