Since we are a Federal Contractor:
Must be a US Citizen
Must be over 18
Must be able to pass drug test
Cannot have any past felonies
1st Shift Positions - Monday through Friday 5:30 am to 4 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch. (50 hour work week w/ OT)
2nd Shift Positions - There is a variety of shift options ( This position can be 4/10hr days, 5/10hr days or 4/12hr days) (There is a 15% pay differential for 2 shift)
We pay based on skill and experience (18/hr - 35/hr)
Job Description:
Works from blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions to produce high quality welds from a variety of exotic metals.May program, set up and operate robotic welding machines.
Responsibilities:
Welds metal components to fabricate products, parts or equipment.
Repairs products of parts by straightening or reshaping with or without the use of heat and/or hydraulic equipment.
Achieve or surpass routed standards.
Calculate side lengths and/or angles using trigonometric charts and tables.
Figure flat layout, setup and operate various equipment to form sheet, plate and structural shapes to produce properly sized material.
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in MIG & TIG welding of carbon steel, stainless, Inconel and aluminum.
Ability to run basic fabrication equipment (shear, cut-off saw, etc.)
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with robotic weld machines is a plus.
