Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Kindergarten teaching position offers a rewarding opportunity to educate young learners in an elementary school setting from August 20, 2025, through May 21, 2026. With a classroom of 13 students, this role allows for meaningful, personalized instruction to foster early childhood development and prepare students for their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in all core subjects aligned with curriculum standards.
Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and social growth.
Communicate regularly with parents and staff to support student success.
Participate in professional development and school activities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
Experience teaching Kindergarten with a strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy.
Ability to manage a classroom of young students with patience and creativity.
Strong communication and organizational skills to maintain effective records and collaborate with colleagues.

Location: Powers Lake, North Dakota
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Duration: August 20, 2025 May 21, 2026
