JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Send Network Development Team by managing logistics, facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth operations across team priorities. This position supports donor engagement, strategic initiatives, and team coordination by keeping schedules, tasks, and project details in order. It is a high-trust, high-detail role well-suited for someone who is organized, proactive, and energized by working in a mission-focused environment.
MINISTERIAL QUALIFICATIONS
All staff positions are considered ministerial in nature due to the purpose and mission of the North American Mission Board.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Administrative & Team Support
Own all aspects of calendar and schedule management for the Send Network Development Team
Coordinate meeting logistics and communication with internal stakeholders and external partners
Assist with travel planning, including itineraries, bookings, and aligning meetings across time zones
Assist in the development and formatting of presentations, reports, and donor communications
Maintain team files, shared materials, and development-related content
2. Meeting & Task Support
Prepare meeting agendas, track meeting notes, and manage follow-up tasks
Maintain alignment with other team assistants and ministry leaders
Support Development/Relationship Managers in organizing and tracking projects and donor-related actions
Occasionally serve as a point of contact for donor-related coordination and follow-up, ensuring excellence in communication and logistics
3. Project Leadership & Ownership:
Support all aspects of project execution from initiation to completion.
Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring projects stay on track.
Review project goals and outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Track team priorities and help move workflows forward with consistency and reliability
4. Operational & Logistical Support
Support basic expense tracking and documentation for team-related activities
Assist in planning team events, in-person meetings, and donor-related gatherings
Provide light office management support including supplies, scheduling, and shared resources
5.Continuous Improvement:
Document lessons learned from projects to support future initiatives.
Suggest process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience in an executive or team assistant role, or comparable administrative position
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and related platforms
Familiarity with task/project management tools such as Notion, Asana, or Monday.com (preferred)
CRM experience is vital
Demonstrated ability to support and work with high-caliber leaders and executive stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
Familiarity with donor engagement processes or fundraising support is a plus

Follow organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Train NAMB staff on processes
Address complaints and resolve problems while maintaining confidentiality with sensitive data.
