Outpatient Coder SCMG - Experienced /HYBRID

Summary

This position is responsible for supporting St Clair Medical Group with abstracting data, compiling pertinent billing information and coding according to regulatory and payment guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of ambulatory coding experience.

Certification in Coding, ie. Certified Professional Coder or Certified Outpatient Coder

Experience navigating electronic health records Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare related major

Experience with Hierarchal Condition Coding (HCC Coding)

Knowledge of Pay for Performance program coding requirements
