General Description:
The Billings and Collections Assistant is an employee who initiates client billings in consultation with a project manager (management level including partners and managers or any member of the client team) ensuring invoices are produced accurately, timely, and in accordance with the client and KGT’s processes and policies.
This position requires solid multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance competing priorities. Workload will include billing and accounts receivables (AR) activities for assigned accounts with billing and cash application requirements. Position requires a positive attitude and willingness to be flexible. The Billings and Collections Assistant will be required to effectively leverage resources for transaction processing related activities (processing invoices and collections efforts).
Qualification and Requirements:
• Associate degree or a combination of college and prior experience in customer service or collections.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or telemarketing.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and simultaneous projects, including incipient supervisory skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Availability to work additional hours as needed.
