Job Description
This position is responsible to ensure the upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning throughout the facility are completed by the maintenance team. The manager will be responsible for direct oversight, and delegation of facility repairs and overall facility maintenance needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote the mission, values and vision of the organization.
Provide excellent customer service for clients; practices confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
Assign general upkeep and routine cleaning of the buildings to the maintenance team.
Report any safety hazards or problems in any specific area where immediate attention is needed.
Be proactive in maintaining and handling daily tasks requested by the executive team.
Ensure maintenance is performing minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, Install appliances and equipment, Performing preventative maintenance, Handling basic repairs, etc.
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
Ensure compliance with monthly vehicle inspection logs, ensuring company vehicle maintenance is up to date, and safe for use.
Coordinate and schedule necessary life safety inspections on a quarterly and annual basis.
Direct point of contact for any facility repair needs and/or inspections (AC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire, Safety, etc)
Hire, Train and Supervise a sufficient number of maintenance techs to ensure assigned tasks are effectively completed.
Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent with combination of education and work experience, required.
Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Minimum Two (2) years’ maintenance or construction experience.
Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts, required.
Relevant computer software and hardware applications proficiency – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
SKILLS:
Proficient with construction and technical knowledge of maintenance equipment.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Experience using hand and electrical tools.
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Being reliable with a keen eye for detail.
Must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Manage multiple tasks.
Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
