CLASS 2 DRIVER

Shift: MONDAY - FRIDAY - WORKING HOURS: 06:00 - 15:00/16:00

Pay Rate: £14.78

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh.

This is a temp-to perm opportunity offering weekly pay, holidays and no weekend work.

Basic: £14.78 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Driving and operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently

Multi-drop deliveries of cash and carry goods to customers

Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles

Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly

Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

Handling cash payments where required

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to have:

A valid UK Category C Licence

A valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card

No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsement codes)

The ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

A good understanding of traffic laws and regulations

Training

Training provided and onsite paid induction provided to successful applicant
